It looks like UFC star Conor McGregor could make an appearance at WrestleMania 35 next year. At least, that’s what SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is teasing. Recently, Lynch responded to a Tweet from WWE suggesting that “The Irish Lass Kicker” has an ally in McGregor.
Lynch referenced McGregor’s infamous bus attack this past April, in which he chartered a private jet from Ireland to Brooklyn to defend his friend’s honor against Khabib Nurmagomedov. The SDL Women’s Champ said she heard McGregor could get to New York City quickly if called upon, suggesting he could make the trip for WrestleMania:

Lynch and McGregor recently exchanged words on Twitter. Lynch responded to an article suggesting she was “channeling” her fellow countrymen with her trash talk. However, Lynch said she’d break McGregor’s arm if they came anywhere near each other, but would share a glass of whiskey with him after.
McGregor then responded to Lynch, offering her “Proper back up,” a subtle reference to his Proper 12 Irish Whiskey. Perhaps McGregor and Lynch have something in the works for a WWE angle in the future.
