As we’ve noted, WWE star Braun Strowman has been dealing with legitimate elbow injuries. Strowman was recently written off WWE TV in order to undergo surgery for his elbow, as he was attacked by Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre on Raw. PWInsider now reports that the expectation is that Strowman will be back in time for his match at the Tables Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view.
Strowman is penciled in to face Baron Corbin in a TLC match at the show. If Strowman wins, he’ll receive a Universal Title shot at Brock Lesnar on the Royal Rumble PPV. If Corbin wins, his position as acting Raw General Manager will become permanent. Strowman will undergo elbow surgery in Birmingham, Alabama on Monday. Should Strowman’s elbow be worst than expected, however, it will force WWE to change its plans for TLC.
The word backstage in WWE is that “The Monster Among Men” should be good to go against Lesnar at the Royal Rumble either way.
